What is Applied Behavioral Analysis?
Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) is widely accepted to be the most effective treatment developed for children with autism. ABA uses researched based methods of behavioral intervention to teach both functional and social behavior such as:
academic skills
reading
communication skills
daily living skills
toileting
dressing
eating
personal care
and social interaction.
CMC's Behavioral Technicians
CMC's staff have completed forty hours of training by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board to become certified Behavior Technicians, as well as First Aid/CPR and Recipient Rights. All Behavior Technicians work closely with and under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst and the family to ensure that the needs of the child and family are met.
